For strains designated as "On Hold" or "Under Development, Distribution Colony", this information helps us manage the colony to better meet the broad needs of the research community.
For strains designated as "Under Development, Cryopreservation Resource", this information helps us to determine if demand warrants maintaining a distribution colony in our production facility rather than offering the strain only from the Cryopreservation Resource.
In addition, after registering your interest, you will receive periodic updates on the status of the colony as well as advance notice (typically 3 weeks) of the pending availability of a strain. Upon receiving advance notice, you will have the opportunity to place an order prior to the strain being publicized as available. Advance orders are filled on a "first come - first served" basis according to the date that interest was registered.
