"Coat Colors of Mice" Book Online

The Mouse Genome Informatics group has adapted the book "The Coat Colors of Mice: a Model for Mammalian Gene Action and Interaction," by Willys K. Silvers (originally published by Springer Verlag in 1979) to the Web. The book is freely accessible to the public at the following Web site. It is easily navigable and contains a user's guide, a table of contents, 12 chapters on dozens of coat color alleles, references, and links to the MGI Web site.
