- 42,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art animal procedure rooms (supporting In Vivo Services), barrier rooms (supporting production of SPF JAX® Mice), and flexible film isolators (supporting breeding services).
- Employs over 60 technical, scientific, and support staff.
- Supports researchers in western North America with the convenience of a local site for performing JAX® Services, including mouse breeding and compound efficacy testing, and obtaining many popular JAX® Mice strains more expediently and with reduced shipping costs.
- Produces JAX® Mice with the same rigorous breeding, health, and genetic quality standards used at The Jackson Laboratory in Maine.
- Home to world class JAX® In Vivo Services, providing high-throughput, non-invasive, cost-effective, and highly customizable compound efficacy testing and early discovery research services.
- Accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALACi) and assured by the Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW).
- Serves a continually growing number of academic, non-profit, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology researchers in California and western North America.
