The Jackson Laboratory routinely maintains some mouse strains in colonies large enough to facilitate the discovery of spontaneous mutations. This practice occasionally results in excess mice. To reduce inventories and facilitate the use of these mice in research, selected JAX® Mice strains will be made available at reduced prices through a new “Special J Offers” program. These specials will be available during specified time frames, on a first-come-first-serve basis, only while excess supplies last, and only for orders shipped within the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico.
