New: JAX® QTL Mapping Analysis Service Launches

JAX® NOTES Issue 511, Fall 2008

JAX® Services is now offering QTL Mapping Analysis Services. Service options include one- and/or two-dimensional genome-wide scans to identify major QTLs and QTL interactions and fit multiple regression models for candidate QTLs and covariates, and the generation of scan plots, confidence intervals, effect plots, and a final report. Genome scans are performed with JAX's panel of over 2,100 validated single nucleotide polymorphic (SNP) markers. Statistical analyses were developed by JAX scientists (Broman et al. 2003; Doerge and Churchill 1996; Lander and Kruglyak 1995; Sen and Churchill 2001).
