New JAX® Pathology Service

JAX® NOTES Issue 513, Spring 2009

Need experienced pathologists to support your mouse-based research? Our new JAX® Pathology Service may be just what you need. Our board-certified veterinary pathologists are experts on the pathology, histology, and clinical chemistry of laboratory mice. This new service offers you the opportunity to consult with us on study design, protocols (either conventional or customized) and data analysis strategies. You provide live mice, processed tissues, or slides and we analyze the samples and submit the results to you in a detailed summary.

Normal colon from a BALB/cJ mouse treated with saline.

B. Ulcerated colon from a BALB/cJ (000651) mouse sacrificed 11 days after being intrarectally injected with trinitrobenzene sulphonic acid (TNBS).
