JAX® Mice Catalog

The 2009-2010 JAX® Mice Catalog combines the features of both our former comprehensive JAX® Mice catalog and mouse models from our JAX® Most Popular Strains Catalog. It includes detailed descriptions and photos of 44 of our most requested JAX® Mice strains, four more strains than were in the 2008 edition of our JAX® Most Popular Strains catalog:

  • 129S1/SvlmJ (002448), a common inbred strain used in gene targeting, cancer, neurobiology and anthrax research
  • C57BL/6-Tg(TcraTcrb)425Cbn/J (004194), a strain transgenic for the mouse alpha-and beta-chain T cell receptor, with research applications in immunology, in vivo T cell biology, lymphocyte homing, and vaccine development
  • CB6F1/J (100007), an F1 hybrid between BALB/cJ and C57BL/6J, with research applications as hosts for tissue transplants from either parental strain
  • TALLYHO/JngJ (005314), an inbred strain with research applications in type 2 diabetes, obesity and vascular dysfunction

JAX® Services Catalog

The 2009 edition of our JAX® Services Catalog includes an overview of our comprehensive suite of services, including breeding and rederivation, cryopreservation and recovery, efficacy testing and phenotyping, genome science, and JAX® Cells, Tissues, and Products. It also describes our preconditioned models for diet-induced obesity, STZ‑induced diabetes, VCD-Induced menopause, our abilities to surgically alter mouse models and provide biospecimens, our timed‑pregnant mice, and our aged mice for Alzheimer's and other disease research. JAX® Mice Price List

The 2009-2010 U.S.A., Canada and Mexico and international price lists as of June, 2009 for all JAX® Mice strains are now available and reflect pricing effective 6/1/2009. To obtain either or both price lists, please fill out and submit the Literature Request Form, or call Customer Service at 1-800-422-6423 (from U.S.A., Canada, and Puerto Rico) or 1-207-288-5845 (from anywhere). Service and Support hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) and 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday.
