This mouse strain (including any and all progeny, "MICE") is distributed by The Jackson Laboratory with the following terms and conditions.

MATERIALS ARE AVAILABLE TO NON PROFIT RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS, UNIVERSITIES AND HOSPITALS THAT HAVE AN ACADEMIC LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH DELTAGEN INC.  COMPANIES REQUIRE A SEPARATE COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE WITH DELTAGEN.  AN ACADEMIC LICENSE AGREEMENT WILL BE FORWARDED FOR APPROVAL THE FIRST TIME A MATERIAL IS ORDERED.

MATERIALS may be sent by the NIH-designated repositories to any academic or non-profit organization worldwide that have signed the Academic License with Deltagen, but may not be sent to commercial organizations without a license. The only restriction on the use of the mice or derived materials in academic research is that they may not be used for industry-funded contract research. There are no publishing or intellectual property restrictions on the use of the mouse materials. Researchers are free to publish and seek patents on results obtained using the mouse materials without restriction.
