NOTICE TO RECIPIENT OF STRAIN(S) 003897, 005935, 005936, 005938, 006138,
006146, 006297, 006663 Including progeny and derivatives, "MICE". INSERM on behalf of CNRS requires companies and for-profits
obtain a license from INSERM for MICE. Contact for licensing inquiries: Alexis Genin As a service to the biomedical research community, The Jackson
Laboratory ("TJL") provides the MICE to the Recipient solely for
research purposes. Each Recipient of MICE from TJL agrees that (i) the MICE and
any descendants of and by-products derived from the MICE shall be used by the
Recipient solely for its internal research purposes and shall not be sold or
transferred to or provided for use by any third party; and (ii) the Recipient
shall not breed or crossbreed the MICE (including any descendants of the MICE
derived from inbreeding or crossbreeding) for sale or transfer to or use by any
third party. Each Recipient further agrees not to use any agent or other third
party to provide breeding or other services with respect to the MICE without
the prior written agreement with TJL. L'Institut National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale ("INSERM")
on behalf of Le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique ("CNRS")
is the sole licensing party of the MICE. In no event shall TJL or INSERM or CNRS be liable for any use of the MICE, and recipient hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold TJL or INSERM or CNRS harmless from any loss, claim damage, or liability which may arise from Recipient's use, storage and disposal of the MICE. |
