This mouse strain (including any and all progeny, "MICE") is distributed by The Jackson Laboratory with the following terms and conditions.  

MICE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO NON PROFIT RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS, UNIVERSITIES AND HOSPITALS.

As a service to the biomedical research community, The Jackson Laboratory ("JACKSON") provides these mice to Recipient solely for grant funded research purposes.  Recipient agrees that the MICE and their descendants, if any, will not be bred for sale nor distributed to any third parties outside the Recipient's institution and will be used solely for research purposes.  The original source of the MICE is Trophos SA, France ("COMPANY").

 

THESE MICE ARE EXPERIMENTAL IN NATURE AND JACKSON AND COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AND EXTENDS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF ANY PATENT, TRADEMARK, OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.

 

In no event shall JACKSON or COMPANY be liable for any use of the MICE, and recipient hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold JACKSON and COMPANY harmless from any loss, claim, damage, or liability which may arise from Recipient's use, storage and disposal of the MICE.
