This mouse strain (including any and all progeny, "MICE") is distributed by The Jackson Laboratory with the following terms and conditions. Use of these MICE by for-profit entities or companies requires a license from Commercial Ventures & Intellectual Property at University of Massachusetts prior to shipping. Contact for license inquiries: Commercial Ventures & Intellectual Property As a service to the biomedical research community, The Jackson Laboratory provides MICE to Recipient solely for research purposes. Recipient agrees that the MICE will not be bred for sale nor distributed to any third parties outside the Recipient's institution, and will be used solely for research purposes. The original source of the MICE is University of Massachusetts (INSTITUTION). THESE MICE ARE EXPERIMENTAL IN NATURE AND THE JACKSON LABORATORY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AND EXTENDS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF ANY PATENT, TRADEMARK, OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. In no event shall The Jackson Laboratory or INSTITUTION be liable for any use of the MICE, and Recipient hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold the Jackson Laboratory and INSTITUTION harmless from any loss, claim, damage, or liability which may arise from Recipient's use, storage and disposal of the MICE.
