Improvements in Genotyping Protocols Database

The most frequent topic our technical support group handles is strain genotyping. Our entire system for updating and recording strain genotyping protocols has been revamped.

The revised Genotyping Protocols Database includes the following features:

  • An easier to read and more intuitive format
  • Volumes needed for each reagent can be calculated directly from the online assays
  • Assays include final concentrations for each reagent, thus can be easily adapted to standard PCR protocols
  • More rapid database updates ensure that all posted protocols are current
  • Genotyping resources and trouble-shooting support are available online from a link at the bottom of each assay
