Strain FVB/NJ (001800) is a multipurpose strain used to research immunology, cancer, retinal degeneration, behavior, thermoregulation, and anthrax. It is also widely used as a background strain to construct transgenics and as a control strain.

New Cre Driver Mouse Lines Survey
CREATE (Coordination of resources for conditional expression of mutated mouse alleles) project would like your help to identify which Cre driver strains are critical to the research community and need to be developed. Visit the CREATE website to take a brief survey- www.creline.org
