Scientific and educational mission
For almost 80 years, The Jackson Laboratory has been the world leader of mouse–based biomedical research, providing mice, mouse–based services, and education to the research community. Over this period of time we have accumulated a wealth of information on mouse husbandry, genetics, biology and the selection and use of mice in research. We respect requests for confidentiality but also encourage and support publication of research and reserve the right to share any non-confidential information we learn as a research animal repository or as a service provider through our scientific presentations, publications, and public databases.
