Mouse Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders Center

The goal of the Mouse Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders (HLBS) Center at The Jackson Laboratory is to link genetic variation to biological function and dysfunction. Using a phenotype-driven approach, we will identify single genes and interacting gene networks that underlie the physiology and pathophysiology of atherosclerosis, hypertension, lung function, blood formation, thrombosis, obesity, and sleep function.
