Our latest innovation, JAX® Sperm Cryopreservation, dramatically lowers the cost and increases the convenience of cryopreserving your mouse strains.
Sperm Cryo & Recovery Service represents a dramatic breakthrough in colony management and is the first truly reliable and cost-effective sperm cryopreservation and recovery service for the mouse strains most commonly used to make knock-out and transgenic mice. This service uses new techniques developed at the Jackson Laboratory and is suitable for strains on C57BL/6, FVB, DBA/2 or C3H/HeJ backgrounds, hybrid mixes of these backgrounds, or B6;129 hybrids.
Embryo Cryopreservation and Recovery Service offers you additional options:
Speed (embryo) Cryo use in vitro fertilization, superovulation and other techniques to cryopreserve embryos from C57BL/6, FVB/N, DBA/2, BALB/cBy, or NOD/Lt backgrounds. Systematic checks throughout the processes ensure successful recovery.
Custom (embryo) Cryo allows you to cryogenically preserve both homozygous and hemi/heterozygous inbred, mutant, and genetically modified lines of mice that cannot be cryopreserved using JAX® Speed Cryo & Recovery Service.
