white bellied agouti with a mutation causing heightened agouti yellow pigment
Related Genotype: unknownDescription
This strain has a coat color mutation which results in heightened agouti yellow pigment. This mutation has not yet been characterized in detail.Development
Progenitors of the CZECHI/Ei strain were originally trapped in Studenec, Morovia in 1978 by Dr Richard Sage who gave mice to Dr Mike Potter at The National Cancer Institute who subsequently transferred mice ranging between F32 and F36 to Dr Eva Eicher at The Jackson Laboratory in 1996 from which time they have continued to be sibling inbred.
