Species laboratory mouse H2 Haplotype g7 Generation N9F21pN1 Appearance
albino, pink eyed
Related Genotype: A/A Tyrc/TyrcDevelopment
The Tg(HLA-B27)30-4Trg allele was generated by injection into the male pronucleus of C57BL/6J fertilized eggs (Taurog et al., 1988). This allele was imported into The Jackson Laboratory and backcrossed onto NOD/Lt until N9 and was then mated to homozygosity.

The following phenotype information may relate to a genetic background differing from this JAX® Mice strain.
Tg(HLA-B27)30-4Trg/?
involves: C57BL/6 * NOD
- immune system phenotype
- decreased susceptibility to autoimmune diabetes (MGI Ref ID J:109851)
- mice are significantly protected from diabetes, with an incidence of 5/14 diabetic females at 30 weeks compared to 19/20 non-transgenic controls
