| General Note | This remutation arose spontaneously on the B10.RIII-H2r(71NS)/Sn strain. Homozygotes have lighter eye color at birth and a diluted gray coat color not different from the original pearl allele. Both homozygous males and females are fertile, and females are good mothers. Mice from this strain were not tested for differences in lysosomal enzymes or for platelet storage pool deficiency, both of which are common in other Ap3b1 mutations. DNA was saved from this remutation (J:51014, J:51188) | ||
