Description
Some phenotypic parameters of the B10.BR-H2k H2-T18a/SgSnJ (Stock No. 000465) mice may have changed recently relative to the strain's previous performance. In order to confirm that a change has occurred and in order to better characterize any differences that may have arisen, animals were recovered from cryopreserved embryos of the strain (B10.BR-H2k H2-T18a/SgSnJJrep Stock No. 004804) that had been frozen in 1991, and the two lines of B10.BR-H2k H2-T18a/SgSnJ were compared. Differences between the two strains have been identified in the CD4/CD8 ratios among several cell populations, and in some dendritic cell populations. As more information is gathered, this website will be updated. Both colonies of B10.BR-H2k H2-T18a/SgSnJ (000465 and 004804) may exhibit white belly spots; these spots are considered a strain characteristic.

“Each recipient institution, including its employees and other researchers under its control (RECIPIENT), of mice or services using mice from The Jackson Laboratory (TJL) agrees that such mice, descendants of those mice derived by inbreeding or crossbreeding, including unmodified derivatives of those mice or their descendants (“MICE”) shall not be: (i) used for any purpose other than the internal research of the RECIPIENT, (ii) sold or otherwise provided to any third party for any use, or (iii) provided to any agent or other third party to provide breeding or other services with respect to MICE. Acceptance of MICE from TJL shall be deemed agreement by RECIPIENT to these conditions, and departure from these conditions requires The Jackson Laboratory’s prior written authorization.”

No Warranty

MICE, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”.
