Type Chemically Induced Mutation; Coisogenic; Additional information on Genetically Engineered Mutant Mice. Species laboratory mouse Development
The mucopolysaccharidosis VII 3 Jackson mutation was identified in the progeny of an ENU mutagenized male in the neuroscience mutagenesis program at The Jackson Laboratory and given the preliminary designation nmf91. This mutation was kept on the C57BL/6J background and in 2005 embryos were cryopreserved from in vitro fertilization of C57BL/6J oocytes with sperm from homozygous males at generation N3F1+N3.
